Education:

  • B.S. in Atmospheric Science, SUNY Albany, 2002

Research Interests and Activities:

  • Watershed hydrology
  • Hillslope processes
  • Surface water – groundwater interactions

My future research will include applying a field based approach to understanding streamflow generation processes in a steep forested catchment of the Hubbard Brook Experimental Forest (HBEF).  Current research I am involved with relies on the use of dye tracers to study the effects of streambed morphology on hyporheic exchange and transient storage in Paradise Brook, HBEF (Rachel Cloutier, principal investigator).

Personal Interests and Community Service:

  • Mountain biking
  • Downhill skiing
  • Hiking and exploring the White Mountains and beyond
  • Interpretive guide – Forest Discovery Trail – White Mountain National Forest
